Sentiments From My Heart

I'm back! The Prayer Revival and the media fast ended today!

I am back to blogging and television viewing (though not quite as fanatically as before;) So, in honor of my "media-return," I thought I'd share a song with you.

I first was introduced to John Waller and his BEA-U-TI-FUL music while checking out this lovely blog. Below is a video featuring his song entitled, "While I'm Waiting." This is one of the songs we heard in the movie Fireproof (which you should really see if you haven't already).

Since the beginning to the 30-day Challenge, I have been working to build my faith through the word of God, and I am at a point where I am really learning how to wait on the Lord in faith.

Consequently, Wallers' song just so happens to capture the sentiments of my heart.

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD (Psalm 27:14).

  1. Hey, after we saw Fireproof hubby bought this song from itunes. let me know if I should include this on the cd.

  2. I heard this song in the movie and fell in love with it. I bought it off iTunes almost immediately after.
Love the music video too. Very well done and really captures the meaning of both the song and the movie.

  3. I'm glad you're back. 7 days is a long time without any blog posts.

  4. Hey Tiffany,

Yes! I think that is a great idea. Please do put it on the cd!

  5. I really like this video too! Something about that rustic look is so cool!

  6. Your media fast was a great idea. We only have basic cable for reception, and that is it. I notice when I fast from the computer or TV, I have so much more time! I've been praying about what activities to continue and what to let go. Blogging might be one of the activities to go. The computer is a particular trap for me.

  7. Thanks Jenn-

I know what you mean about having so much more time once you step away from the computer or television!

Nevertheless, I think that being a STAHM adds an extra level of feeling like you need an "outlet" because you are inside with the kiddies most of the time.

I think most mommy bloggers wonder if they spend too much time on the computer, or if its is something of a "needed vice")

  8. What a great resource!

Your ideas, questions, and comments are welcome!
